Prepared Meals

Prepared meals is how we started out. Cooking healthy food for cheap, and giving away the excess to those who could really use a home style cooked meal. 

Now we are at it again. Only even better. Our prices are well below market value for the meals we are offering because:

1. We want you to try us out. 

2. We think we can keep prices low if enough people decide to support us. 

It has been some years since we ran our food program and after cooking for the last 8 weeks we have decided this is going to be even easier than we thought. 

Bottom line? We are saving food that is GOING TO GO BAD by cooking it. This is not only a "savings" for us, it is now a savings for you. 

Local agriculture is a major component to a healthy, thriving local economy.

With our new brand, Nothing Wasted, we are yet again committed to preparing healthy, affordable meals for our community, We are also simultaneously working with farmers and distributors to optimize every last bit of potential food waste that we can. 

In this fantastic partnership with Harvest Barn in St. Catharines, you can now join us as we aspire to feed as many people as we possibly can with our prepared meals, (and soon to be smoothies and fresh juices). And as always, we will be making more than what has been ordered so we can take the left over meals each week to various shelters and community groups in great need of healthy food.

What's cooking? 

You will receive:

1 Salad with Homemade Dressing (clamshell style bowl)
1 Casserole or Buddha Bowl/ENTREE or Bone Broth (1 Litre container) 
1 Litre of Soup from Scratch (1 Litre container)

Contents can vary. 

Our meals are made without the use of any wheat however it is not a certified gluten free kitchen.

We will not be providing the name of each meal, or it's ingredients ahead of time if you are ordering delivery. However you will know slightly ahead of time for curbside pickup. The reason being is we will have to wait until we make it to know what we have - as we will be doing our best to both cook, and learn how to incorporate the food that needs to be used up before it's wasted. Your support of this program would help us do this.

Week to week you will see meals like this: 

Mushroom Soup, Buddha Bowls, Beef and broccoli, Thai Soup, Cabbage Roll Casserole, Greek Salad, Asian Salad, Irish Stew, Tomato Soup, Spinach Salad and a ton more. 

We use Bob and Leslie Comfort's meat from Comfort Farms, which is not fed anything gmo, nor does it have any added hormones, steroids or antibiotics. We will also sometimes use Kent Heritage Farms meat as well. Our produce will be the best we can possibly do and we have a lot of fresh herbs.
