Red Maple Farm School is a hands-on learning space where people come to learn how to grow food, work with tools, care for animals, and build practical, real-world skills. This is not classroom learning. This is learning by doing — on the land, in the garden, in the workshop, and as part of a community.
1Hands-on learning in tools, food production, and practical life skills designed to help teens build confidence and independence.
2Learn to grow, harvest, and preserve food while understanding how small-scale farms and local food systems actually work.
3Outdoor team-building experiences focused on communication, leadership, and problem-solving through practical, hands-on activities.
Our land-based learning programs teach the full cycle of food, tools, animals, and land stewardship. These programs are designed to give people practical skills while reconnecting them with where food comes from and how real work gets done.

Red Maple Farm School is built through community support, local partnerships, and businesses that believe in practical education, food security, and hands-on learning. Sponsorships help us build infrastructure, run programs, and make hands-on education accessible to more people.
With your support, we are able to build and run projects like:
• School garden beds and growing spaces
• Hoop houses and season extension structures
• Tools and workshop equipment
• Youth education and hands-on learning programs
• Animal housing, fencing, and care infrastructure
• Community learning spaces and outdoor classrooms
• Farm tours and public education programs
• Equipment and infrastructure for food production and preservation
