Please note: Beef trim for making your own cooking tallow. This is raw beef fat, ready to render down at home into rich, traditional tallow for cooking, frying, and baking, it is not already made "tallow". To make tallow, it's very easy, cut the beef fat into small pieces and slowly render it over low heat until the fat melts and the solids are lightly browned. Strain the liquid fat through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a clean jar, and repeat the melting and straining process once or twice if needed for a cleaner, more refined tallow.
