Medium Plus Produce Bag
Fresh food, great variety, and incredible value!
Our Medium Plus Produce Bag is filled with a generous assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, carefully selected each week to help you feed your household well without spending a fortune.
We work with Niagara farmers to source as much locally grown produce as possible, especially during our growing season. Our goal is to support local agriculture while making fresh, affordable food accessible to more households.
What can you expect in your bag?
Depending on the season and availability, your bag may include tomatoes, zucchini, green onions, white potatoes, apples, lettuce, kale, mushrooms, beans, Brussels sprouts, cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, garlic, turnips, parsnips, beets, and plenty of other fresh favourites.
Because we operate year-round, not everything can be grown locally in every season. We occasionally include a limited selection of non-local produce, particularly when we come across great opportunities to offer additional value. For example, we might include avocados when we have an abundance available, or bananas because we know how much families with children appreciate them!
What makes Medium Plus special?
Every week, we select an additional product from one of our vendors, valued at $5 or more, and include it in your bag. It’s our way of introducing you to some of the wonderful products available through Small Scale Farms while supporting the farmers, producers, and small businesses we work with.
Every bag is different! Contents change weekly based on seasonal availability, freshness, and the best value we can source. Our priority is always to provide an abundance of fresh food at a price that makes sense for your household.
CanadaGood items!
Food was all really good quality, was hoping for a little more local/homegrown items but all-in-all enjoyed everything! Not entirely sure what “+ produce bag” meant in the description as well?
