Depends where we are at in the season as to what is available/will be in your box. It is ever changing, as we purchase from both local growers and local distributors.

*Please note, we add in produce that is not local but this will be very limited. For example, if we come across an excess of avocados, we'd like to be able to provide them to you and will add them. Or, we add bananas, because a lot of our subscribers are parents, and the kids enjoy them. And in some cases, we buy them so they can be given out easily to the people who are still without a home in Niagara.
Our point? We want local more than anyone, and this subscription is us navigating the current food system in real time, to increase our purchasing power, and grow and buy more local food.
When we purchase from a local food system, the profit stays within our community. We believe this is a great way to unite the various groups within Niagara to both fundraise but also feed. And grow.
And then grow even more.
Please note that this product can be curbside pickup, but you must purchase it from the curbside pickup category only. If you add this product to your cart from here it is for delivery only.

This is HOW to make a difference in Niagara.
We all spend money. We're just trying to show you why we think you should spend it with locally. Investing in the local food economy helps us all.
We love getting our box , not only does it eliminate some.of my shopping , the kids are super interested to see what we get each week , we wash the items and talk about were they come from . We love being able to support our local farmers and community , it is beautiful to see the community working together and helping get food to whom ever needs it . I have recommend you.to everyone ! We are super pleased
We mostly loved our subscription box but have stopped for the time being as we're getting enough from a family member's garden. We're 2 adults and a toddler and found the small box was roughly the right amount if you eat lots of veggies as we do. We loved trying new veggies we'd never had before. The caveat is that some weeks I didn't have the energy or enthusiasm (as a parent with a busy toddler) to learn how to cook something new. One time we also got a veggie that we didn't know what it was and I kept forgetting to call to ask. In the end it never got eaten because we didn't know what to do with it. They usually have instructions with new veggies which I really appreciated!! So I'm guessing they'd had this veggie in their boxes before and we just didn't know about it because we were new. I also like to bulk batch cook for multiple meals at once and the quantities usually only allowed for one meal's worth of a certain vegetable. Note however we've only received the box in winter/spring, so I'm not sure what their summer box is like. Would we subscribe again and recommend it to others? Yes, I would say so. Depending on your situation/needs, it's a pretty good setup and the service has been good.
Great, so nice to be able to support local businesses, especially in these unusual times.
