This is so exciting!

For almost 3 years we prepared meals for our community.
We know not everyone can make use of fresh vegetables, so we cooked them first, to not let them go to waste.

Then we learned how to cook more. For both paying customers and those who were in need.

The idea was/is, farmers need a way to move produce that would not otherwise be utilized. Cooking it helped with that.

Now that we’ve increased our capacity for local food distribution through our new food hub, we are thrilled to announce our new partnership ability with local chefs, to make even better use of local product.

Now we work together, starting first with En Place Inc.

Enplace is well known for making every dish with fresher ingredients, supporting local businesses, and leaving a smaller carbon footprint within their business model. They make delicious seasonal foods using what's found a stone's throw away.

Yes there is most certainly a learning curve to what we are attempting to accomplish here but after our first few weeks we can honestly say it is definitely coming together very well! 

Convenience is key. We know this.

And with so many chefs not working, what an opportunity to start something new.

Details: Delivery is included in the price. 

Meals are delivered once a week for 3 weeks. 5 meals each week, 2 portions each.

DELIVERY:

We deliver on Wednesdays EACH WEEK for 3 weeks, with this week 1 menu starting on June 3, (BETWEEN 4-7PM). This order will be delivered ON IT'S OWN, if you order our produce box it WILL be coming on a different day. 

If you would like to place another order, for vegetables, fruit, bread, eggs, meat, beeswax wraps etc, please note the difference in delivery dates. 

MENU:

Week 1 June 3, 2020

  • Fire Roasted Pepper Soup

  • Butter Chicken with Saffron Rice Pilaf

  • Grilled Vegetable Ratatouille, 24 Hour Flat Iron Steak

  • Sous Vide Chicken, Herb Polenta, Fig and Olive Fricassee

  • Shepherds Pie, White Cheddar Mash

Week 2 June 10, 2020

  • Loaded Potato Soup 
  • Chicken Souvlaki Bowl, Greek Potatoes
  • Basil Pesto Orzo, dried tomatoes, cured black olives
  • Pork Tenderloin, Sour Cherry Chutney, Seasonal Veg
  • Salisbury Meatballs, Mushroom Fried Rice

Week 3 June 17, 2020
  • Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo
  • Grilled Chicken Penne
  • BBQ Pork, Garden Herb Tabouleh
  • Ginger Beef Stir Fry
  • Slow Braised Lamb, 3 Bean Salad

 

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive 5 meals a week for 3 weeks.

Each meal is approximately 2 portions.

You will NEED TO BE HOME FOR DELIVERY (4-7PM ON WEDNESDAYS) AS WE WILL BE LEAVING YOUR ITEMS ON YOUR PORCH. PLEASE LEAVE US A COOLER OR BOX TO PUT IT IN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON ANSWERING THE DOOR. 

If we end up leaving the cooler bag we will need it back. Please leave it for us the next time we deliver.
